*Just a random pic of my cuties from a few years back*
This blog was started in order to let other people in on our lives and in turn has turned into a journal of sorts for me. This is my journal of my kids lives and my own. I guess I am just trying to say that my posts wont always include a picture or have something funny or exciting in it anymore. I am using this as a way to document our lives and then have the posts printed out each year and put into a book for us to keep. I need to get better at blogging this year. Hold me to that!!!!
Random stuff:
Hannah cracks me up. She is soooo silly. She loves to ask Hudson to race her down the drive way or even to her bedroom door. She also loves to say ready, set, CELERY (instead of Go). Then after Hudson is halfway down the driveway she will say I said CELERY not Go!!! You lose!!! Then she laughs and laughs (and does it again until he says "I won't ever be your friend again if you do that one more time!!!").
We always have dinner at my moms house on Mondays and everyone knows that Hannah will be the entertainment. She is great at embarrassing my sister and her boyfriend at the table or anyone for that matter. A few weeks ago this was the conversation from Hannah to Anna and Jerry "Jerry are you going to ask Anna to marry you?" Everyone is quiet and they try to dodge the question "Anna are you and Jerry going to get married?" "Well are you getting married or not?" We all just smile and laugh as one of them says "I don't know, we will see". She will ask my brother if he has a girlfriend or tell our secrets =) Last week she said "Daddy toots at home but not in front of other people". It's always something embarrassing =)
Hudson loves to ask me to chase him and then when I don't catch him he says "missed me, missed me, now you have to kiss me" Then he laughs and runs as fast as he can. He loves sports and honestly knows more than me at this point. He loves to throw the football with me and have me "tackle him down". Last week he stayed up and watched the entire Colts football game. Last night I asked him when he was going to start sleeping in his own bed and he replied "When I am 70 years old" Ha Ha!!! I guess I really do need to get him in his own bed soon =)
A few things about me (I said it was a random post). I am pretty silly as well. My kids get it honestly. I love to turn the music on loud and dance with my kids. I like to bust out crazy funny moves and ask the kids if they think I am a good dancer. I love to be silly with them. I will ask them to "make me dinner" and they will come back with pretend food and I will say "This is not what I asked for and this food is cold" "I will not eat cold food, go make it again" They will then rush in and make it again and I will say "This food is too hot, ouch you burnt me!!! Take it back" Then they will go make it again and I will say "Oh this is perfect" and I will act like I gobbled it up too fast and then pretend to throw up on them. I know its gross but they laugh so hard that they fall over and I can't help but laugh with them. Before bed I always blow Hannah a kiss goodnight and we name our kisses. I will say " I am blowing you a mac and cheese kiss" and she will say "I am blowing you a cotton candy kiss". I would tell you more of the silly things I do with the kids but you are grown ups and you probably wouldn't understand =) You might think I am too silly and that would embarrass me. So for now it's just between me and them - lol =) Oh I will tell you that sometimes at bedtime I will say in a very calm voice to the kids "Good night" and then follow it with a LOUD "Pillow fight!!!!!" and bop them in the head. Yes, it adds 20 minutes onto bed time but they LOVE it!!!!
