A spooktacular night!!

Last night was Halloween and despite Hudson feeling a little under the weather we had a great time. It was 4:30 and Hudson was asleep, Hannah was in a mood, we had no candy for the trick-or-treaters, and no candy buckets....Ahhhhh! We got ourselves together and managed to get everyone dressed by 5pm with time to run out for candy - whewww! We headed over to our neighbors house for chili and fellowship and then went to my moms for our first trick-or-treat stop. Oh yeah, papaw came over early and gave the kids each two bags of candy (What happened to the days of one piece of candy?) We gave him the look (Why in the world did you give Hannah 10 ring pops and Hudson 15 bags of m&ms? haha) We went around the neighborhood in the red wagon and all in all we had a great time. The biggest fright of the night was when our neighbor came out dressed as goofy. Hannah was out in our front yard when I heard the screams of a very frightened little girl. I though "oh no someone is dressed in a scary costume" I came outside to see her terrified over goofy!! I hope our trip to Disneyland goes better =) The kids were allowed to pick three candies each to eat before bed (that is after we went through their bags and took out everything we wanted). Hannah picked two kit-kats, and one laffy taffy. Hudson picked out a reeses cup, a sucker, and some m&ms. I had Reeses cups, a milky way, and a baby ruth. I think Kenneth had 3 reeses cups =). Our favorite part of Halloween is meeting new neighbors and catching up with old ones. I love seeing everyone outside having fun. Happy Halloween!!

Loree you are a great mom and sis. Your kids are so blessed to have a mom that makes magic for them. I love you always.
