Welcome to Indiana!! This week has been a great snow week. The kids woke up on Wednesday morning and looked out the window to see 4inches of fresh snow on the ground. Laughter, giggles, and "Can we please, please, please go out in the snow" came next. We (me, Kenneth, and the kids) decided to gear up and head out to the hill for some sledding. The hill is in our backyard which makes it very nice. All the neighbor kids meet in our backyard for hours and hours of sledding each year. I had forgotten how much fun sledding can be. Kenneth and I found ourselves acting like kids again. "Its my turn on the tube", "I bet my sled can go further than yours", "Whoops I didn't mean to push you down the hill - haha" This was Hudson's first year to really enjoy the snow. He loved it!! He stomped up the hill and flew down on his sled with great delight. Once we were all good and cold we came in and enjoyed hot cocoa and popcorn. What a day!!

A hill in the backyard would be wonderful! What a small little blessing! Looks like fun was had by all. We haven't had a chance to take the girls sledding, but hopefully will before the snow melts. I don't think Barrett will be too into it, yet! :-) Sarah's just getting old enough to stand being cold! Love ya,Alison
